      Brian, don’t you find that the best poems do leave unanswered questions? Not that these latest posts count as my best poems. They’re more like finger exercises than anything. But sometimes it’s better to write something that nothing at all.

      I’m working with a different form of haiku, introduced to our writing group during workshop, which throws the 5-7-5 structure out the window and focuses on the “haiku moment” — the things that create a particular state of mind, rather than the state of mind itself.
